Service Fees
Fees charged for services that have already been rendered, work that has already been completed, or costs that have already been incurred are generally non-refundable.
Where services are provided according to an accepted quotation, proposal, agreement or instruction, the payment and cancellation terms contained in that agreement will apply.
Deposits and Upfront Payments
Certain services may require a deposit or upfront payment before work begins.
If a client cancels a service before work has commenced, any refund will be considered based on the circumstances and the terms of the applicable quotation or agreement.
Where work has already commenced, Real Estate and Asset Business Solutions reserves the right to deduct reasonable costs for work performed, administration, commitments made and expenses already incurred before processing any applicable refund.
Cancellations
Clients are requested to provide written notice as soon as possible if they wish to cancel or change an agreed service.
Cancellation charges may apply where resources have already been allocated, third-party costs have been incurred, transport or operational arrangements have been made, or work has already commenced.
Transport and Logistics Services
Refunds relating to transport, logistics, fleet or load-management services will be assessed according to the specific service agreement or quotation.
Costs already incurred in arranging or performing a transport service may be deducted from any amount eligible for refund.
Refund Requests
Any request for a refund should include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant service, payment or invoice.
Approved refunds will be processed using an appropriate payment method within a reasonable period.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights that a client may have under applicable South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008, where applicable.
Where legislation provides a client with a right to cancel a transaction or receive a refund, the applicable legal requirements will take precedence over this policy.
